The Town Council recognizes the importance of promoting public confidence in the Town government and that those citizens who hold public office or are employed by the Town may have conflicts arise between their public duty and their personal and/or financial interests. Therefore, to promote consistency in ethics rules across the State of Colorado, the Town Council desires to conform to state-wide ethics standards as set forth in C.R.S. § 24-18-101, et seq. (Ord. No. 2022-06 §2 (Exh. A)).
