It shall be the duty of the Director to review all building plans to insure compliance with Design Review Board plan approval, safety issues, Ordinances and Codes. He/she shall oversee issuance of permits and collection of appropriate fees as established by Ordinance or Code. He/she shall conduct or cause to be conducted building inspections in accordance with appropriate Codes. The Director shall provide interpretation and guidance on Building Codes and submit recommendations to the Town Manager for changes in building standards, materials, and specifications. (Ord.
